The little one is safely home, at last, from the hospital, eating voraciously and napping in the laundry basket. Thanks to all for their best wishes; they were much appreciated.

New icon from the alternate universe in which it's Cordelia Chase, not Charisma Carpenter, guest-starring on Veronica Mars, for some reason ad libbing her own dialogue from "Killed By Death." Also, I made yet another Justice League icon.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. It would be cute were it atpophenia, noun: seeing connections every year in June or July, and maybe at the occasional mini-meet.

I'll bet you're enjoying that character on V. Mars, aren't you? I have to admit I was looking forward to getting caught up on the first season of the show so I could see The Bikini.

But what I *didn't* expect was that she would be such an unstomachable bitca. All I could think was, "that's what Cordelia would have been like in her twenties if she'd never fallen in with Buffy's friends in high school!"

*shudder*

I'm certainly enjoying watching Charisma work again, and I've certainly appreciated her costuming. I've been a little confused about what they've been doing with her character; after the first episode, I fully expected that Big Dick Casablancas would be dead by November sweeps and the only question would be whether it was Logan, Dick or Beaver who had played Fred MacMurray to Kendall's Barbara Stanwyck (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0036775/). I suppose that the writers would call not going that way "avoiding cliché" but I'm afraid it was instead "disrespecting the tradition."

In any case, the only suspense around her role now revolves around whether or not the viewer can take seriously the idea of Duncan cheating on Veronica.

These story lines about these teenaged boys getting all this sex bores me. I stopped watching "Nip/Tuck" because on that show it's gotten ludicrous.

Charisma and Ally are doing a pretty good job, though. It took me a full minute in that scene they were in together to get the "OMG Willow and Cordelia!" vibe.

Oh, I turned down the sound so I could add my own dialogue to the scene. "Good to know you've seen the softer side of Sears . . . "

Yay for the little one's recovery! Glad to hear it.

And why can't it be "atpophenia"? You just coined it!

I'm so glad the little one is better!
Definitely, atpophenia should be part of the English language..one of those strangely mysterious words that only the chosen few understand, and everyone else just scratches their heads about when they come across it during a game of scrabble. English is full of weird and wonderful words, I have discovered..a game of scrabble with Dub is educational as well as entertaining.
