I hope to write up my triathlon write-up some time today. But I am feeling pretty lazy about it. Prescribe something for me:

Congratulations! On the triathlon. Why don't you just go see all three?

That's a lot of time sitting in a movie theater in one day.

The good thing about Ratatouille is that it's like all the other Pixar movies.

The bad thing about Ratatouille is that it's like all the other Pixar movies.

I saw some similarities to The Incredibles, in terms of the defense of elitism and whatnot, but being that I'm not really sure what all the other Pixar movies are like, I'd appreciate your expounding on this for a paragraph or so.

Male main character, misfit, finds his place doing something he's really good at naturally (not because of practice, although practice sometimes does come in later), wins the approval of his disapproving family/society. It's not a bad plot, if you're just going to have the one. It just gets to be a bit much of a muchness after awhile.

plus, let's get serious, which of these three is a big screen movie?

All movies are big screen movies! If you find a theater cheap enough! But, to seriously answer your question, Ratatouille. Watching as the exquisitely crafted water effects take Pixar past the valley of the uncanny into the lea of scarily realistic is something that cannot be appreciated on my 27" RCA. Also, I know that if I sit too close to the screen, as I always do, the hyperkinesis of Bourne will give me epilepsy.

Anyway, maybe tomorrow for Bourne.

I have seen none of them, but I vote (waaaaaaay too late) for Ratatouille, since after such an effort, you deserve to watch a movie named after food.
